Women in Tech Cymru presents
You don’t have to be a technologist to work in technology: the cybersecurity edition
Diaries at the ready; the next Women in Tech Cymru event is (almost) here!
Following our successful launch event in June we’re gearing up to take to the stage once again. This time we’ll put a multitude of cybersecurity career paths under the microscope, in a bid to prove that you don’t have to be a technologist to work in technology.
We’ve amassed a powerful line-up of acclaimed speakers spanning IoT idols, celebrated coders, famous Fintecheers and everyone in between, so keep your eyes peeled as we reveal these in the coming weeks.
While these leading ladies (and gents!) have excelled in their respective tech-focused careers, in many cases they do not have roles which would immediately be identified as ‘technology jobs’. They are digital media writers and publishers; business strategists and sales leaders amongst other things.
The next time we gather and take to the stage will be as part of the Digital Festival at Tamshed Tech on 18th September. And what a stage it’s going to be. The Digital Festival will play host to innovators, entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world flocking to Cardiff for Wales’ biggest tech festival. And we’re going to be part of it!
There are limited places, so if you want to be part of our exciting next event, then click here to register for the meeting. After registering for the event, don’t forget to register for the Digital Festival itself, and make the most of the amazing workshops, keynotes and roundtables happening throughout the two-day extravaganza.
