Clayton is Programme Manager of the Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies (CEMET), which is based at the University of South Wales. The operation, which is part ERDF funded, supports companies based in the North, West Wales and the Valleys region with the creation and adoption of emerging technologies. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the operation, focusing in particular on the delivery of collaborative R&D projects with SMEs. He was previously Programme Manager of the Centre of Excellence in Mobile Applications and Services (CEMAS).
Clayton has 14 years’ experience of successfully developing and delivering EU funded technology projects. As such, he is well versed in Programme / Project Management, Financial Management, Risk Assessment and Strategic Planning. He attained an Executive MBA from the University of Glamorgan and a PGCE from Cardiff University. He is also a qualified Agile Business Analyst, MSP and Prince2 Practitioner.
