Sally is an experienced digital leader with a track record of delivering high profile and innovative, culture-changing transformation projects in large, complex organisations in the public and private sector.
In 2000 she quit her job and knowing very little about the Internet or travel industry took out a loan and set up a travel review website. The site went on to win numerous awards, including the Telegraph Website of the year. This was the start of her digital career.
As a recognised thought leader in digital Sally has since had various digital transformation and strategic partnership roles in Local, Central and Scottish Government, and worked with the Welsh Government to deliver central services through local offices and digital inclusion initiatives. Recent roles have been with the Government Digital Service Cabinet Office, where she led a digital capability study across 8 departments. She then went on to become the Department of Transport transformation lead. She worked with the DVLA to deliver 3 of the 25 government exemplars. Most recently she has been working with DWP on their IT Transformation and is currently the interim Digital Lead at DEFRA, an Innovation Point Board member and lives in South Wales.
In the private sector she has lead on the Post Office Digital Transformation and worked with a large Local Government supplier to help them prepare to win business in Central Government.
